What to Expect and How to Prepare
Session Consultation
At Imajine Studios, all our sessions are completely customized to you. The first thing we discover is, what would you love to see, and what would you love to feel more of? Whether it’s a self-portrait, family or business branding portrait session, we create completely customized and bespoke portraits for you. Before your session, we will spend time with you discussing the inspiration for your portraits. We would like to know as much about you as possible, so we can tailor the experience to your exact wishes. We want your portraits to be an artistic representation of you and/or your family, so we’ll recommend styling and backdrops that will best showcase your personalities and special bond.
Photography Session
Please be on time as we are on a tight schedule. There is no time built into your session for picking out an outfit and getting dressed. You may arrive 20 minutes early to begin this process if needed. You don’t want to arrive feeling rushed and flustered.

On the day of your photography session, prepare for an amazing experience! Our expertise is capturing the personal connection between the members of the family, the special bond between you and your pet, best friend, business partner, or the beautiful special milestones of your child. We focus on bringing you together and creating an environment to celebrate and capture the essence of who you are. Your family is special and the love you share should be celebrated with fine art portraits! Portraits that we take aren’t just snapshots with fake smiles and unnatural poses. Instead, in our portraits we focus on the eyes and genuine facial expressions. We believe that photography should be fun and feel natural, so we can capture those perfect moments of genuine personalities and emotions.
Portrait Reveal
We will schedule your in-studio design session 1-2 weeks after your portrait session. You’ll view a slideshow of the very best images from your session Whether you prefer a modern contemporary style or rustic chic, we’ll work together to ensure your portraits fit your home perfectly. Having your portrait taken is a special occasion, and at Imajine Studios we intend to make it highly enjoyable for you, as well as memorable. We value your individuality and want to create portraits of exceptional quality, that are very unique and personal to you.
